The mission of Hallowed Grounds is to add a luxurious and memorable element to your event. Our on-site cafe suits virtually any corporate treat for employees, executive meeting, holiday party, art gallery opening, wedding, or upscale private party. Catered espresso can be used as an addition to a fully catered event such as a wedding, or as a more affordable, smaller scale catered service for morning or afternoon meetings – i.e. you bring the people and we’ll provide the pastries.
We have a GS3 Espresso Machine by La Marzocco, a manufacturer of the highest quality commercial espresso machines. Our GS3 was hand-made in Florence, Italy and it is the central element of our traveling cafe. It weighs 74+ pounds and runs off of one standard wall outlet and a 5-gallon jug of spring water. The machine is fully manual which means that all classic barista techniques and style are used to pull espresso and steam milk.
Our main goal is to provide a superior and unique element to a special event, something that guests will remember, something that will make them feel like they are being sweetly spoiled.
If you want a cafe that will accurately represent a Hallowed Grounds experience, then we suggest you swing by Cafe Medici on West Lynn. Like us, Cafe Medici is also using Cuvee Coffee Roasting Company out of Spicewood, Texas, and they really know what they are doing: espresso nerds galore.
Yes, they are competition for us, but they’ve been extremely generous to us and we can easily return the favor by directing you back to them, especially since we aren’t set up unless it’s at your event!
